OBJECTIVE & SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP
Water has become the paradox of human existence, increasing urbanization and advancement of life style has narrowed the purity of water. Today our natural water has undergone tremendous change and it required extensive technological intervention for easy and safe access to the resources. One of the latest advancement for sustainable development in drinking water generation from surface water is the bank filtration. The traditional/conventional methods are considered less ideal in the present age. Therefore stresses on treatment of water naturally are being focus now a day. These technological workshop will not only make knowledge sharing on latest technological development in water treatment but also shear research experience and invite open debate on sustainability.
The present workshop aims at explaining and examining the use of natural treatment process for surface water to make more cost effective and sustainable technology. It also introduces some of the latest technological tools that can aid to understand the cutting edge process on bank filtration technology.
(a)Introductory to natural treatment of water
(b)Hand on training on Riverbank Filtration
(c)Field investigation methodology
(d)Latest developments and research potential in water
(e)Sciences of interaction of water and aquifer
